Common Questions
1. Will extensions damage my natural hair? Not when the right weft is selected, professionally applied, properly cared for at home, and regular maintenance appointments are kept.
2. Can extensions be heat styled and colored? Yes! Just like your natural hair, they can be heat-styled—just remember to use heat protection and the lowest effective heat setting. Extensions can also be toned or darkened with professional hair color, but they cannot be lightened.
3.Is the hair reusable? How long does it last? After the initial installation, these wefts can be reapplied up to six times, lasting 8–12 months with proper care home care and maintenance appointments.
4. How do I care & maintain extensions? At home, brush your extensions regularly and secure them in a loose top knot or braid before going to bed, working out, or swimming. You’ll want to dry your hair after wetting or washing. Depending on your hair’s growth rate, you’ll need a slide-up or repositioning appointment every 4-6 weeks- which we’ll go over in detail during your consultation.
5. Why do I need a consultation first? The consultation allows me to answer all your questions, explain your home care and maintenance plan, color match your extensions, and help you choose the best package for your hair type and goals. There are no fees for consultations.
